some feedback – the Plasma 40HF units is performing very well.
We can confirm with the Automotive Vehicle panel cutting -
this unit has really performed extremely well. I would gladly
recommend this machine to any prospective
user. It is user friendly and
very easy to use. The Arc start function is a great help to
the operator which also allows the operator to control the arc
on and does not need to strike the cut surface for it to
work. The cut is more
superior to my unit at home and the appearance is definitely
superior."

"This is my second major equipment
purchase from R-Tech my first being
a TIG251. Though being a piece of
ex-demo equipment, it was in
perfect condition and a complete
bargain. Works like a dream, much
better than a gas axe! This really
is trade equipment at bargain
basement prices! Don't let the
prices fool you, this is not DIY
equipment at all, I have regretted
going down the DIY route to save a
bit of money in the past and now
have a policy of buying only
"quality" trade equipment; In my
opinion, the R-Tech brand is
completely in line with this
policy!!"

"I bought my IMIG 160 and a P30C
together over a year ago from R TECH, both units
have performed admirably well after being used for
a number of jobs both in the workshop and on site.
I have to admit I was sceptical of their ability
when seeing the compact size and low weight of the
units, but both units performed brilliantly - easy
to control with stepless control knobs and easy to
read display (I can adjust things without taking my
gloves off). The welds are smooth and even and
striking an arc is easy in both MIG and MMA
modes.
In summary I will continue to
recommend R TECH to anyone who wants great machines
with a proper UK based warranty and after
sales"

"I bought this welder to use on a
project that I am working on which has any number of stainless
steel and aluminium fabrication requirements. I learned to TIG weld
in the late 70's when the machines were much more basic and have
done none since so I wasn't sure about all the new bells and
whistles! I should not have worried as this machine was a breeze to
set up and use on all the materials that I have tried; this
included some 2.5mm thick die cast aluminium that I did no prep
work on but still produced excellent, defect free welds. My next
investment will be a set of gas lenses which should be a benefit
when welding outside in breezy conditions. All in all an excellent
welder at an equally excellent price and all with outstanding
service!"

to Dylan at R-Tech; I recently bought 200amp AC/DC TIG welder, absolutely
awesome piece of kit and welds aluminium like a dream. I have used all the
top makes EWM, ESAB, MILLER etc... This machine is as good if not better.
Also the MMA side is just as good also. I had a minor problem with the TIG
torch threads so I rang them up, they sent me a complete new torch - next day
delivery - and it arrived the following morning. The after sales help and

"After much consideration, I decided to purchase the
TIG160PDC and the Weldability auto darkening helmet. The goods arrived well
packaged and everything there for me to get welding straight away. The machine
itself is fantastic and welds stainless and mild steel with absolute ease. I have
managed to weld some 5mm thick stainless steel using pulse mode in TIG. Weld
quality was nothing short of brilliant.

machine compared with all the 3 phase AC welders I have used BUT
this TIG161 is an amazing Aluminium welder and it is so adjustable
enabling me to weld even dirty material with ease. Also it appears
that the Tungsten life will be very long with the Gas lens torch
